A simple setup
Upaya does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. The app uses only the browser storage and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in, remember your choices, support offline use, and protect the service.
What Upaya stores on your device
- Sign-in and security information needed to maintain your session.
- Interface preferences, including per-bucket views, sorting, dismissed prompts, and installation choices.
- Cached list data and images that make the app faster and allow supported features to work offline.
- Draft or queued changes created while offline, until they can be synchronised.
- Temporary guest to-do status for public lists used without an account.
- Push-notification subscription details when you explicitly enable notifications.
External services
Pages containing maps, externally hosted images, link previews, or other third-party content may connect to those providers. They receive technical request data such as your IP address and browser information and may apply their own storage rules. Upaya does not enable those services for advertising purposes.
Your choices
Because this storage is necessary for the functions you request, Upaya does not show a consent banner for advertising or analytics cookies. You can remove local data by signing out, clearing Upaya’s site data in your browser, or uninstalling the installed app. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, offline access, preferences, and other core features from working.
